Hi Everyone,
Our next meeting is on Saturday 4th July 9.30a.m. – 12.00 m.d. at Highbury Community Centre, 110 Hinemoa St. Birkenhead.
Mid winter morning coffee/tea – Come and celebrate our new name ‘Sewing Connection Auckland’ and our new beginning! Enjoy tea/ coffee, refreshments (all supplied) and a social time. Bring a friend.
Programme:
- Judging of the 2nd Challenge – Make something warm for Winter (Judging will be by popular vote)
- Show and tell
- Morning tea celebration
- Bring your favourite sewing aid (e.g. ironing aid, machine attachment, special glue etc.) and tell us about it.
Many thanks to all who sent in feedback, especially for the spelling of our group’s name. Also a big thankyou to all who have volunteered to help in some way with the development of a weblog. A plan has been put together and a start has been made. What an exciting time for our group!
